Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

Welcome to Yantrix. By accessing or using our APIs, website, MCP package, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

Yantrix is operated by Yantrix ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

1. Description of Services

Yantrix provides a collection of AI-powered APIs accessible via HTTP and the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard. Our APIs cover capabilities including but not limited to fact verification, code review, document intelligence, Indian data services, financial data, and productivity tools.

All APIs are offered on a pay-per-call basis using x402/USDC micropayments settled on the Base blockchain network. No subscription or account creation is required to use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use our Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Payments and Billing

3.1 Payment Method

All payments are processed via the x402 protocol using USDC stablecoin on the Base mainnet blockchain. You are responsible for having sufficient USDC balance and a compatible wallet to make payments.

3.2 Pricing

Pricing is displayed on our website at yantrix.ai and within individual API responses. Prices are denominated in USD and settled in USDC. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time with notice provided on our website.

3.3 No Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable once an API call has been successfully processed and a response returned. If you experience a technical error where payment was charged but no valid response was returned, contact support@yantrix.ai within 48 hours.

3.4 Taxes

You are responsible for all applicable taxes arising from your use of the Services.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Generate, distribute or facilitate harmful, abusive, discriminatory or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape or extract our underlying models or data
  • Abuse, overload or interfere with the availability of the Services
  • Use the Services to train competing AI models without explicit written permission
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Services for any purpose that violates the rights of third parties
  • Circumvent any rate limits, payment requirements or security measures

5. API Usage

5.1 Rate Limits

We may impose rate limits on API usage to protect service availability. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend access for usage patterns that negatively impact other users.

5.2 DEV_MODE

We provide a DEV_MODE flag for testing purposes. DEV_MODE is provided as-is, may return simulated responses, and is intended for development and testing only. Using DEV_MODE in production environments is prohibited.

5.3 API Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for downtime, latency issues or temporary unavailability of the Services.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to content you submit to our APIs ("Input"). By submitting Input, you grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the Services.

6.2 API Outputs

You own the outputs generated by our APIs ("Output") and may use them for any lawful purpose, subject to these Terms and any applicable third-party restrictions.

6.3 Yantrix IP

All rights, title and interest in the Services, including our software, APIs, documentation, and trademarks, remain with Yantrix. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our brand, logos or trademarks.

7. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We do not store the content of API inputs beyond what is necessary to process your request and provide the Services, unless you have explicitly opted into data retention features.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

API outputs, including fact verification verdicts, code review scores, and AI-generated analysis, are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional legal, financial, medical, or security advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YANTRIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 30 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Yantrix and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

Our Services may integrate with or rely on third-party services including Anthropic's Claude AI, Coinbase's Base blockchain, and India Post data. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or terms of these third-party services.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and posting the updated Terms at yantrix.ai/terms.html. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Since the Services are pay-per-call with no accounts required, termination generally means blocking your wallet address or IP from accessing our APIs.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
